Cath Lab Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Assist cardiologists in diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, including angiography, angioplasty, stent placement, and pacemaker implantation.
• Operate and maintain Cath Lab equipment such as fluoroscopy machines, hemodynamic monitoring systems, and contrast injectors.
• Prepare and position patients for catheterization procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Monitor and record patient vitals, ECG, and hemodynamic parameters during procedures.
• Ensure strict infection control and radiation safety protocols are followed.
• Handle contrast media preparation and administration under medical supervision.
• Maintain Cath Lab inventory, including catheters, guidewires, balloons, and stents.
• Assist in emergency cardiac procedures such as primary angioplasty in acute heart attacks.
• Keep detailed records of procedures, patient reports, and equipment maintenance logs.
• Collaborate with the hospital’s cardiac and ICU teams for post-procedure patient care.
• Reporting and operating of ECHO and TMT.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma in Cath Lab Technology / Cardiac Care Technology / Radiology Technology.
• 2-10 years of experience working in a Cath Lab / Interventional Cardiology Department.
• Proficiency in operating Cath Lab imaging systems, hemodynamic monitoring equipment, and contrast injectors.
• Knowledge of angiography, angioplasty, pacemaker insertion, and electrophysiology studies.
• Understanding of radiation safety, infection control, and emergency response in Cath Lab settings.
• Strong ability to handle critical situations and assist in emergency cardiac procedures.
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and patient care skills.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
