Job Summary

The Senior Radiographer will be responsible for performing advanced diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring high-quality imaging, maintaining safety standards, and guiding junior technicians. The role requires strong technical expertise, patient handling skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced diagnostic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-Ray, CT Scan, and MRI.
• Prepare patients for procedures and clearly explain each step.
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain radiography equipment safely.
• Ensure high-quality images while minimizing radiation exposure.
• Review and validate imaging results before sharing with radiologists.
• Maintain accurate patient records, imaging logs, and reports.
• Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance/repairs.
• Ensure adherence to radiation safety guidelines, hygiene protocols, and regulatory compliance.
• Assist doctors, radiologists, and clinical teams during procedures.
• Guide, mentor, and support junior radiographers/technicians.
• Participate in internal audits, quality checks, and workflow improvements.

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Radiography / Medical Imaging Technology or equivalent.
• Minimum 5+ years experience in a hospital or diagnostic center.
• Strong knowledge of imaging techniques, radiation safety, and equipment handling.
• Ability to perform X-Ray, CT, and MRI with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication, patient care, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle emergency imaging procedures when required.
• Familiarity with PACS / RIS is an added advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
