X-Ray Technician

Job Summary

An X-ray Technician is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging examinations using X-ray equipment. The role involves preparing patients, operating imaging machines, ensuring safety protocols, and assisting physicians in diagnosing medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform X-ray imaging procedures as prescribed by physicians
• Prepare and position patients correctly to obtain clear images
• Ensure patient comfort and explain procedures before imaging
• Operate and maintain X-ray machines and related equipment
• Follow radiation safety standards to protect patients and staff
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging reports
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and legal regulations
• Perform routine equipment checks and report malfunctions

Required Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Radiology / Radiologic Technology
• Certification or license as per local regulatory requirements
• Knowledge of radiation safety standards

Experience

• Freshers or candidates with 1–3 years of experience in a hospital or diagnostic center can apply

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.40 per month
