Nurse In-Charge - Oncology

Role Summary:

To oversee and manage nursing operations within the oncology department, ensuring high-quality patient care, adherence to clinical protocols, and effective team coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and guide nursing staff in the oncology unit
• Ensure proper administration of oncology treatments as per protocols
• Monitor patient care, safety, and infection control practices
• Coordinate with oncologists, pharmacists, and other departments
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Handle patient and family counseling related to treatment and care plans
• Ensure availability and proper use of oncology equipment and medications
• Manage staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluation
• Handle emergencies and escalate critical cases appropriately
• Qualifications & Experience:
• B.Sc. Nursing / GNM (B.Sc. preferred)
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in oncology nursing
• Prior experience in a supervisory / in-charge role preferred
• Valid nursing registration
• Skills Required:
• Strong clinical knowledge in oncology care
• Leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and patient-handling abilities
• Attention to detail and adherence to protocols

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
