Role Summary:
To oversee and manage nursing operations within the oncology department, ensuring high-quality patient care, adherence to clinical protocols, and effective team coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and guide nursing staff in the oncology unit
- Ensure proper administration of oncology treatments as per protocols
- Monitor patient care, safety, and infection control practices
- Coordinate with oncologists, pharmacists, and other departments
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Handle patient and family counseling related to treatment and care plans
- Ensure availability and proper use of oncology equipment and medications
- Manage staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluation
- Handle emergencies and escalate critical cases appropriately
- Qualifications & Experience:
- B.Sc. Nursing / GNM (B.Sc. preferred)
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in oncology nursing
- Prior experience in a supervisory / in-charge role preferred
- Valid nursing registration
- Skills Required:
- Strong clinical knowledge in oncology care
- Leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and patient-handling abilities
- Attention to detail and adherence to protocols
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
